A Family History

We are all the outcome of our ancestors’ lives.

Please join me in celebrating those whose lives created our little corner of the human community.  This site focuses on our particular family – begun by Bob and Rose Poiesz on May 2, 1953.  From Mom and Dad, we expand outward along all the connections we can identify – the only rule is that we tell family stories.  There’s no surname requirement – though each story will have a link back to Bob and Rose.

I’m starting the process by posting a collection of stories about the military service of members of Dad’s generation – told in pictures and documents.  From there, who knows…
